We almost didn't stop, but Sven was intrigued by a 'blow your own glass ball' sign near the Oregon Coast Aquarium. We stopped in and discovered that the guy who taught this skill to customers is a Native Alaskan from the chain! And he was GREAT with kids- letting them do most of the work and acting like a helper for them. Eilidh made a beautiful glass starfish and Bella and Fish worked on a glass ball, which now hangs in our kitchen at home. Fun!
