Off we go- not to Disneyland like the plane suggested, which excited Grandma and Bella but disgusted Eilidh- to Oregon to visit Bubbe! It'll be a quick trip- just 6 days- but we are all so excited to spend time with the two grandma Marys and maybe see a flower or two. We'll fly all day and then spend a night in Portland before driving down the coast to Bubbe's house in Gold Beach. To break up the drive, we reserved a yurt in South Beach (near Newport) for the night- and our friends George, Alisa and Maya Hideg will join us!
Uh-oh. Eilidh discovered Harry Potter on this trip and disappeared into her books for much of the time. Fun to watch!
